Robert Schenimann

Robert Doyle Schenimann, 76, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at Southeast Hospital.

He was born Aug. 1, 1943, in Cape Girardeau County to the late Joseph Robert and Margie Effie Elizabeth Farrow Schenimann.

Robert served in the Army National Guard. He was owner of Schenimann Auto Body in Cape Girardeau. He enjoyed golfing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and spending time with his friends at VFW Post No. 3838.

Survivors include daughters, Kristin (Richard) Swanson of Spring Hill, Florida, and Brandi (Matt) Goben of Webster Groves, Missouri; stepdaughters, Kim (Tim) Powers and Laurie (Tim) Welter, both of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Lois (Wayne) Koehler and Kaye (King) Bradshaw, both of Jackson; and grandchildren, Clay Moyers, Jada Moyers, Karsen Powers, Nick Powers, Kaitlin Welter and Lexi Welter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Minor officiating. Burial will follow at McLain Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
