ADVANCE, Mo. -- Robert Edward Noble, 85, of Advance died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 16, 1918, at Morehouse, Mo., son of Thomas and Annie Fox Noble.
Noble was a retired machine operator. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Mike Noble of Chaffee, Mo.; a daughter, Martha Noble of Arkansas; a brother, Raymond Noble of Memphis, Tenn. and a special friend, Loraine Phillips of Advance.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. C.B. Stidham officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee with full military honors.
