SIKESTON -- Robert "Bobby" McCarty, 50, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. SIKESTON -- Robert "Bobby" McCarty, 50, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born March 23, 1949, at Indianapolis, Ind., son of Chester Pierce and Ruby A. Ross McCarty.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Blodgett and the Columbus Care Club in Sikeston. He was a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen in Sikeston.

Survivors include two brothers, Donald McCarty of Jackson and Daniel Ross of Scott City; two sisters, Deloris Garland of Chaffee and Hester Schultheif of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. April and Johnathan Khourie officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
