ROBERT MASHEK

ADVANCE -- Robert "Bob" Mashek, 89, of Advance died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1998, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

He was born Oct. 20, 1908, at Advance, son of Frank and Mary Sedlac Mashek. He and Wanda Opal Sitz were married in November 1934 at Bell City. She died April 10, 1994.

Mashek retired as a truck driver for Elfrink Truck Lines after 25 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley Mashek of Farmington and Stuart Mashek of Scott City; a daughter, Nancy Mashek of Farmington; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Fredrick Lutz officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
