KANSAS CITY -- Robert Marion Dietiker, 57, of Kansas City and formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Dec. 15, 1995, at his home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1938, in Cape Girardeau.
Dietiker was a steel worker for ARMCO Steel & Gst., an Air Force veteran, and a leader for Troops 88 and 269 of the Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Dietiker; a son, Robert M. Dietiker of Kansas City; five daughters, Kathy Mahoney of Parkville, Sandy Turner and Elizabeth Goucher of Independence, Patricia Crossland of Lee's Summit, and Mary Bachmann of Raytown; his mother, Sarah Hagar of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, John, Jim, Roy, Frank and Mike Dietiker, all of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Shirley Hutchinson and Janet and Betty Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel in Kansas City, with the poppy seed service at 8 a.m. followed by the Rosary.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Floral Hills Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City.
