ROBERT L. ZOOK

EAST PRAIRIE -- Robert L. Zook, 63, of East Prairie, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following an extended illness.

He was born March 8, 1932, in St. Bernice, Ind., son of Willie and Lillie Phillippe Zook. He grew up in the Mounds community near here.

Zook was a supervisor at Chevrolet in St. Louis from 1953-83. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in St. Charles, First Church of God and the James Bayou Cookers in East Prairie.

Survivors include a son, Waylond Zook of Azle, Texas; two daughters, Ronda Riley of Florissant, Tina Wilson of Brighton, Ill.; two brothers, Earl Zook of East Alton, Ill., Wayne Zook of Wyatt; three sisters, Francois Smith of Mira Loma, Calif., Mary Marcum and Gladys Dodge of Wappapello, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 4 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
