PERRYVILLE -- Funeral mass for Robert L. Prevallet of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. today at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6:30-9:30 a.m. today.
Prevallet, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 1, 1917, in Perry County, son of John and Leona Moore Prevallet. He and Placide Hayden were married April 14, 1935. She died July 22, 1989.
Prevallet had been a utilities lineman. He was a member of Christ the Savior Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Council 1263, American Legion Post 133, and Electrician's Local 2. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include four sons, William and Mike Prevallet of Perryville, Jim Prevallet of Pope, Miss., Robert Prevallet of Arab, Ala.; three daughters, Faye Lappe of Farmington, Joanna Allen and Peggie Sutterer of Perryville; two sisters, Aileen Fenwick and Linda Reiss of Perryville; a brother, John "Sox" Prevallet of Perryville; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
