MARQUAND -- Funeral service for Robert Leroy and Beulah M. Green of Fredericktown will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Patton, with the Rev. Kirby Grindstaff officiating. Green will be buried at Liberty Cemetery near Marquand. Mrs. Green will be buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.

The couple was killed in an automobile accident Tuesday, May 18, 1993, near Fredericktown. He was 65, and she was 63.

Green was born July 20, 1927, at Marquand, son of Harry and Pearl Rhodes Green. He and Beulah M. Robinson Pruett were married March 22, 1974.

He was a retired bus driver at Meadow Heights School in Patton. He was a member of Liberty Congregational Methodist Church near Marquand. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by a brother, Weldon Green of Marquand; a sister, Juanita Trentham of St. Louis; two stepsons; a stepdaughter; 12 stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Mrs. Green was born March 30, 1930, at Fredericktown, daughter of Lewis and Minnie Shaffer Robinson. She first married Daniel Pruett April 8, 1951. He died in 1971.

She was a retired cook at Meadow Heights School, and was a charter member of New Providence Church at Fredericktown.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Pruett of Fredericktown, Donald Pruett of Elizabethton, Tenn.; a daughter, Karen Finch of Patterson; a brother, Clarence Robinson of Fredericktown; three sisters, Fredia Pirtle of Flat River, Dorothy Wagganer and Sylvia Cooper of Fredericktown; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
