CAIRO, Ill. -- Robert J. Cange, 90, of Cairo died Saturday, Jan. 13, 1996, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City, Ark.
He was born Oct. 7, 1905, at Belleville, Ill., son of Joseph and Elizabeth Ramsecher Cange.
He was a retired mechanic and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Cairo.
Survivors are his wife, Eulaine Brey Cange of Cairo; three sons, Dick Cange of Mason, Ohio, Bill Cange of Forrest City and Jim Cange of Collinsville, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at the Barkett Funeral Home at Cairo after 5 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate, with burial in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Grand Chain, Ill.
