Robert Hurt

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Robert Dewayne Hurt, 53, of Jackson, son of the late Robert Hurt and Mary Ann Cox Howell was born Dec. 8, 1967, in St. Louis and departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at his home surrounded by his wife and stepdaughter.

On May 10, 2020, he married Myra Miller in Cape Girardeau. She survives of the home.

Robert was a beloved husband, Dad, friend. He loved his St. Louis Blues and was very grateful that he got to see them win the Stanley Cup before he passed away. He loved to ride his Harley and loved his brothers and had a great relationship with Josie.

Also surviving is one step-daughter, Josie E. Mueller of Jackson; one sister, Carrie L. Hurt of Jackson.

Apart from his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Don D. Howell

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
