Robert Hull

Robert Cordell Hull, 82, of Jackson died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 9, 1932, in Caledonia, Missouri, to Houston and Mildred Talley Hull.

He and Thelma G. Huff were married April 7, 1951, in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She passed away Jan. 14, 2004.

Robert worked as a lead serviceman for Missouri Utilities, retiring after 42 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Carla (Moe) Desaulniers of Jackson; a son, Bob (Jane) Hull of Jackson; six grandchildren, Chris Hull, Bryan (Amy) Altenthal, Heather Hull, Bekki (fiance Kevin Crawford) Altenthal, Chris Desaulniers and Robin Piercy; and 11 great-grandchildren, Hunter Hull, Katee Hull, Madilyn Haman, London Haman, Teghan Altenthal, Hayden Hull, Dylan Haman, T.J. Altenthal, Zackery Piercy, Jaydon Desaulniers and Jackson Desaulniers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
