He was born June 22, 1925, in East Cape Girardeau, Ill., son of Carl and Erna Masterson Hileman. He and Doris Austin were married Aug. 9, 1990, in San Diego, Calif.

Hileman was a mechanic and manager at Harris Truck and Trailer 43 years.

He was a member and past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge, and member of Eagles Lodge.
