Robert Konrad Heisserer, 37, of Indianapolis passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, while on a business trip in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
He was born Aug. 12, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, to Karl Michael and Barbara Diane Curtis Heisserer, the oldest of six sons. He married Sandra Hartmann on June 30, 2001, in Cincinnati.
Robert was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, obtained a bachelor of arts degree in English from Xavier University in Cincinnati, and a master's in education from Marion College in Indianapolis. He was employed by Engineered Air of Calgary, and was the Indiana territory sales manager.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; his parents, Barbara and Karl Heisserer; four brothers, Joseph (Jenny), Eric (Bobbi), Michael (Ashley) and James Heisserer, all of Indianapolis; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Louise Heisserer of Oran, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Sue (Scott) Barbee of Cincinnati; 11 nephews and nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Lee Heisserer; and maternal grandparents, Clyde and Rosa Curtis of Oran.
Funeral Mass was held Nov. 9 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Burial was in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis.
