SIKESTON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Robert Gene Harris Sr. of Sikeston will be at 2 p.m. today at IOOF Cemetery in Charleston, Mo., with full military honors.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after noon today.
Harris, 59, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born May 16, 1943, in Charleston, son of Joseph Lee and Vera Louvie Harris. He married Carolyn LaComb, who preceded him in death.
Harris was a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Harris Jr. of Boston, Mass., Johnny Harris of Panama City, Fla.; a daughter, Kimberly Harris of Hickory, N.C.; a brother, Billy Harris of Jackson; two sisters, Melba Whitney of Macon, N.C., Sheila Clark of Sikeston; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
