MARQUAND -- Robert Chartrand Halbrook, 16, of Marquand died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998, in an automobile accident near Marquand.

He was born June 10, 1982, in St. Louis, son of Edouard and Tammy Smith Chartrand.

Halbrook was a student at Meadow Heights High School in Patton, and was active in various sports.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Tammy Halbrook of Marquand; four brothers, Donald Halbrook and Joseph Smith of Farmington, Bill Halbrook Jr. of Marquand, John De Jessa of Lesterville; three sisters, Michelle Karn of Fredericktown, Patricia Whitaker of Farmington, Jackie Halbrook of Marquand; paternal grandparents, James and Sylvia Halbrook Sr. of Fredericktown, maternal grandparents, John Manning of Biloxi, Miss., and Virginia Manning of Farmington.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jerry Sander and Rick Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Union Light Cemetery.
