DONGOLA, Ill. -- Robert H. Moore, 65, of Dongola, Ill., formerly of Channahon, Ill., died Thursday, June 22, 1995, at the Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Anna, son of Harry and Maldetta Batson Moore. He married Sarah "Tut" Hileman in Jonesboro on April 1, 1953. She survives.
He worked for Caterpillar as a crane operator for 32 years and was in the cattle business since returning to Union County. He was a member of the Anna Moose Lodge, the Anna VFW post, and the International Association of Machinists. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife; his father, Harry Moore of Wolf Lake, Ill.; a son, Michael Moore of Minooka, Ill; a daughter, Bobbie Crismon of Minooka; two sisters, Jean Hill of Anna and Linda Rogers of Mount Vernon; and four grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at Hileman and Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro, Ill.
Funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Cripps officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
