BENTON, Mo. -- Robert Gerard "Frog" Felter of Benton died Friday, March 7, 2014, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. He was born June 15, 1957, in Benton, the son of Sylvester A. and Mildred C Schlitt Felter. He graduated from Thomas W. Kelly High School in 1975. BENTON, Mo. -- Robert Gerard "Frog" Felter of Benton died Friday, March 7, 2014, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

He was born June 15, 1957, in Benton, the son of Sylvester A. and Mildred C Schlitt Felter.

He graduated from Thomas W. Kelly High School in 1975. He worked in shipping and receiving at Wetterau in Scott City and then worked in sales for Hertz Rent-a-Car. Later, he worked as a self-employed mechanic in Dallas.

Survivors include; a son, Nathan (Diedre) Fraser; granddaughters Pierson and Isla and grandson Hutton of Huntsville, Ala.; sisters and brothers, Shirley (Don) Cook, Linda (Ken) Ressel, LaVerne Felter, Delores "Chip" Ancell, Doris (Glenn) Stubenrauch, Dianne (Gary) Galwith, Yvonne (Joe Jr.) Schwartz, Susie (Bo) Bohannon, Sylvie Felter, David (Bev) Felter, Mary (Mark) Reed, Carla (David) Lynch and Joey Felter; 10 nieces; 20 nephews; 24 great-nieces; and 25 great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother and sister, Jerry and Mary Felter; and a sister, Marilyn Felter; and a niece, Erica Reed.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Monday with a service immediately following, with Father Tom Kiefer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
