Robert Henley Clark, 90, of Millersville passed away Friday April 29, 2005, at his home.
He was born Oct. 16, 1914, in Eva, Tenn., son of Robert E. and Vernona W. Wright Clark. He and Delsie Wilson were married March 7, 1935, in Benton, Mo. She passed away Oct. 29, 2001.
Henley owned and operated Clark Construction from 1946 to 1980.
Loving survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Loral Hopkins of Jackson, Saundra and Jerry Williamson of Millersville and Roxie and Paul R. Seabaugh of Burfordville; two sisters, Ruth Roberts of Jackson and Marie Goodson of Carbondale, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Hays, Bradley Hopkins, Susan Whiteside, Traci Jansen, Shannon Seabaugh, Shawn Seabaugh and Max Williamson; 11 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, James and Jake Hopkins, Christopher and Sarah Hays, Rachel Whiteside, Cody Stoops, Sierra Jansen, Trisden and Raylee Seabaugh.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Clark.
Friends may call Sunday, May 1, between 4 and 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Petzoldt officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Lutheran Home Hospice.
