PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Robert L. Cashion, 61, of Perryville died Monday, April 17, 2006, at his home.
He was born Aug. 3, 1944, in Perry County, Mo., son of Eugene Robert and Birdie Clifton Cashion. He and Jenny Pullen were married Aug. 15, 1998.
Cashion was retired from General Motors truck line. He was a former member of Pleasant Grove Church, past exalted ruler of Perryville Elks Lodge 2701, and member of United Auto Workers.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Tina Mathenia of Memphis, Tenn., Robyn Cashion of St. Louis; four stepsons, James and David Hood, Brad and Glen Johnson, all of Perryville; three sisters, Mary Earhart of St. Louis, Gloria Sanders of Belleville, Ill., Betty Benz of Jefferson City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service. Perryville Elks will have a wake service at 7 tonight.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery, with military rites provided by American Legion Post 133.
