Robert Lee Camp, Sr., 75, of Scott City died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born July 4, 1928, in Green County, Ark., son of Andrew Louis and Sue Lawrence Camp. He and Geneva I. Breedlove were married Oct. 1, 1949.
Camp was a clerk for Cotton Belt Railroad. He was a member of Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City; the Masonic Lodge in Paragould, Mo.; and the Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame, Southeast Missouri.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Camp Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Andrew Camp of Scott City; two sisters, Janis Clarke of Jonesboro, Ark., and Connie Hansen of Pocatello, Idaho; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four infant brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8:30 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. to noon Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at Illmo Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. Dennis Bell will offiicate.
Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
