DIEHLSTADT -- Robert C. Norman, 76, of Diehlstadt, died Saturday at the Springfield Residential Center. He was born Sept. 8, 1915 in Clinton, Ky., to the late Wilburn Walter and Ann Embry Hilliard Norman. DIEHLSTADT -- Robert C. Norman, 76, of Diehlstadt, died Saturday at the Springfield Residential Center.

He was born Sept. 8, 1915 in Clinton, Ky., to the late Wilburn Walter and Ann Embry Hilliard Norman.

Had lived in Springfield most of his life, where he was a partner in Norman Pack Candies until he retired in 72. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors are two sons, Bill Norman of Novato, Calif. and Robert Norman of Turlock, Calif; two daughters, Embry Fantozzi of Davis, Calif. and Nancy Norman of Gridley, Calif.; three brothers, Paul Norman of Diehlstadt, Maurice Norman of Springfield and John Norman of Strafford; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call today from 5-8 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where funeral services are scheduled Thursday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Raymond Hannah will officiate. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery at Clinton, Ky.
