Funeral service for Robert "Bud" Burns of Benton, Ark., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Burns, 52, died Saturday, May 15, 1993, at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton.
He was born March 16, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of Robert T. and Mechel Maglone Burns.
Burns had been a painter with various construction companies.
Survivors include four sons, Robert and Thomas Burns of Benton, Ark., Joshua and Jacob Burns of Pevely; two daughters, Kimberly Highley of Converse, Ind., Cynthia Godsey of Bedford, Ind.; two sisters, Nyoka Lewis of DeSoto, Wanda Mouser of Bonne Terre, and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and grandson.
