Robert Blankenbeker Jr.

DOUGLAS, Ga. -- Robert Brooks Blankenbeker Jr., 62, of Douglas, formerly of Morley, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 13, 2006, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas.

He was born Sept. 24, 1943, at Cape Girardeau, son of Elizabeth Ann May and Robert Brooks Blankenbeker Sr.

Blankenbeker was a retired computer technician. He was a member of First Community Church in Douglas.

Survivors include his father of Douglas; a brother, John A. Blankenbeker of Camdenton Mo.; two sisters, Nancy Taylor of Douglas, Ellen Fuller of Westville, N.J.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Mo., and from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Life Christian Center in Morley.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Life Christian Center, with the Rev. Don Russell officiating. Burial will be in Old Morley Cemetery.
