MOUNDS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Robert A. Price of Mounds, Ill. will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill. The Rev. MOUNDS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Robert A. Price of Mounds, Ill. will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill.
The Rev. Jerry Herring will officiate and burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, east of Ullin, Ill.
Mr. Price died Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was 76.
He was born June 12, 1914 at Cairo, Ill., the son of the late Charles A. and Anna Downing Price.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Cairo and owned and operated Price Shoe and Bicycle Repair Shop in Mounds for 35 years.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Price in 1941, a brother and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Sowers Price, of Mounds; a daughter, Judy Crippen of Ullin, Ill.; three sons, Robert Charles Price of Kouts, Ind., Earl Price of Paragould, Ark. and Jerry Price of Mounds; 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.
