Robbie Stallins

PRINCETON, Ky. -- Robbie Pauline Stallins, known and loved by all as "Polly," passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at Longcreek Assisted Living Facility in Sunnyvale, Texas. She resided there with her husband of 72 years, the love of her life, William D. Stallins.

She was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Caldwell County, Kentucky, the youngest of five siblings. She was raised in Princeton and lived in Cape Girardeau more than 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alva Word Merrick; her father, Gregg "Pool" Merrick; and two daughters, Janice Hull and Dian Stallins.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Stallins; three grandchildren, Jeoff (Lori) Williams and Shannon Williams of Dallas, and Abraham (Andie) Stallins of Leander, Texas; as well as multiple great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton.

There will be a private burial.
