JACKSON -- Funeral for Lonnie R. "Rob" Bangert II of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and at the church after 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Bangert, 30, died Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 19, 1967, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lonnie R. and Judy Eddleman Bangert. He and Wendy Hoffman were married Sept. 28, 1991, at New Wells.
Bangert was a 1986 graduate of Jackson High School. He was employed by Jerry Siemers. He was a member of St. Paul Church and Cape County Young Farmers.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Morgan Bangert of the home; his parents of Jackson; and maternal grandmother, Anna Eddleman of Cape Girardeau.
