SIKESTON -- Rita C. Hooker, 72, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at the Sikeston Health Center. She was born May 31, 1924, at Oran, daughter of Adam Andrew and Dana Marie Eftink Hooker. SIKESTON -- Rita C. Hooker, 72, of Sikeston, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at the Sikeston Health Center.

She was born May 31, 1924, at Oran, daughter of Adam Andrew and Dana Marie Eftink Hooker.

She worked 24 years for Oran International Hat Co., as an inspector. She was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church at Oran and a member of St. Ann Sodality.

She is survived by a sister, Violet Glastetter of Oran; two nephews, Leonard Glastetter and Larry Glastetter, both of Oran; and a niece, Janet Randolph of Oran.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Rev. Lewis Henja officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel after 4 p.m. today. Parish Prayers will be held at the funeral home today at 6:30.
