Ricky Alan Nance, son of the late Truman Jr. and Evelyn Blumenburg Nance, was born May 18, 1966, in Cape Girardeau and departed his life Thursday July 16, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center at the age of 54.
Ricky was a former employee at Sandy's Place in Cape Girardeau, member of First Baptist Church in Whitewater and a resident of Whitewater.
He was united in marriage to LaWanda Carolyn Robinson on July 1, 1999, in Paducah, Kentucky. Mrs. Nance preceded him in death in 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Nick Nance of Cape Girardeau and Joey Barlow of Delta; two brothers, Mike Anderson of Whitewater and Doug Anderson (Amy) of Murphysboro, Illinois; three sisters, Pam Martin (Frank) of Delta, Cindy Stroder (Rocky) of Oak Ridge and Tori Miller (Kendall) of Whitewater; also by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Phil Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
