Ricky Joe Moore, 65, of Benton died Monday, June 3, 2024, at his home.

He was born Jan. 16, 1959, in Alton, Illinois, to Anna Vincent. He married Vanessa I. Horton on July 3, 1994, in Las Vegas.

He worked for Proctor & Gamble for 25 years as a millwright. He enjoyed spending time with his children, boating, trips to the beach and riding his Harley-Davidson.

He is survived by five sons, Chris (Della) Moore of Jackson, David (Nadine) Engen of Lockhart, Texas, Ricky (Brandi) Geisert of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Billy (Elizabeth) Geisert of Owensville, Indiana, and Steve (Angela) Horton of Briggsdale, Colorado; two daughters, Alissa Moore of Berthoud, Colorado, Monica Muehifelt of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a brother, Gary Moore of Fenton; three sisters, Joyce (Glenn) Smay of Cottage Hills, Illinois, Patty King of Independence and P.J. (Mike) Green of Colorado; sister-in-law, Gracie Moore of Brighton, Illinois; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vanessa, on Sept. 21, 2022; his mother; a son, Steven A. Moore; and a brother, Eugene Moore.

Memorial visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, June 10, at Unity Baptist Church in Benton.

Memorial service will be at noon Monday, June 10, at the church, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.
