CAPE GIRARDEAU - A memorial service for Ricky Lou Coffey, 36, of Cape Girardeau, will be held today, at 2 p.m., at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Charles Green will officiate.

Coffey died Friday at Southeast Missouri Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born in St. Louis on July 12, 1954 to Ralph and Joan Manewal Callahan. They survive, along with four brothers, Randy Coffey, Kevin Callahan and Mike Callahan, all of St. Louis; and Chris Callahan of Jefferson City.

Other survivors include one sister, Candy Sisco of St. Louis, a friend, Brent Mabuce of Cape Girardeau, and six nieces.

Coffey was a resident of Cape Girardeau for ten years. He worked in visual merchandising at West Park Mall from 1986 to 1988.
