Rick Procter, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born May 24, 1934, in Amarillo, Texas, son of Joseph and Margaret Trice Procter.
Procter was a former art professor at Southeast Missouri State University.
He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Procter of Santa Fe, N.M., Jessica Procter of Dallas; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the northeast part of the River Campus.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
