KELSO, Mo. -- Richard Marion "Richie" McClain, 52, of Kelso died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at his home.
He was born June 11, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, son of Milburn E. "Red" and Armella Scherer McClain. He and Elizabeth Ann Shearer were married Feb. 26, 2000, at Kelso.
McClain was owner of McClain Roofing Co. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus Council 6420, and its 4th Degree Assembly 2283.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Travis (Denise) McClain of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kasie (Andy) Ralls of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Geoff (Raegan) Hannan of Karnak, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Keisha (Joe) German of Springfield, Mo.; his mother of Kelso; a brother, Larry (Nancy) McClain of Kelso; two sisters, Georgia (Dave) Carman and Charlene (Rick) Weber of Kelso; and a granddaughter, Zoe German.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 7, followed by Knights of Columbus service at 7:15.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.
