KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Richard Vaglica, 68, of Kansas City passed away Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019, at his home.

He was born Aug 28, 1951, to Carmello and Alma Vaglica in Cape Girardeau.

Richard worked as a bus operator at Kansas City International Airport before his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and inventing things.

He was a wonderful husband and father and loved his family and friends very much.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Vaglica; daughter, Lesli (Kalen) Kieffaber; grandson, Dawson; granddaughter, Eleanor; sister, Melinda Gentry; and brothers, Mike and Danny Moore.

Services were held Friday, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kearney, Missouri.

Fry-Bross and Spidle Funeral Home of Kearney was in charge of arrangements.
