PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Richard C. Talbert, 44, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, in Windsor, N.C.
He was born Aug. 18, 1959, in Natchez, Miss., son of Ruben and Dirse Talbert. He and Deanna Wibbenmeyer were married Sept. 8, 1990.
Talbert was owner/operator of Talbert Construction. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2701 and River Hills Eagles Aerie 4034.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John "J.C." Talbert of the home; three daughters, Jamie, Marissa and Gina Talbert, all of the home; his father of Vidalia, La.; his mother, Dirse Waldrep of Denham Springs, La.; a sister, Sandra Eeling of Vidalia; three brothers, Don Whitten of Omaha, Ark., Charles Whitten of Greenwell Springs, La., and Bill Talbert of Vicksburg, Miss.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service. An Elks service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Travis Hanna officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
