PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Richard M. Sanders, 55, of Nashville, Tenn., died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at his home.

He was born June 25, 1952, in New York state, son of Charles and Lois Wheeler Sanders.

Sanders was a retired truck driver.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his mother of Perryville; two brothers, Charles Sanders Jr. of O'Fallon, Mo., Russell Sanders of Jacksonville, N.C.; and a friend, Nancy Webb of Nashville.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerold McBride officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
