RICHARD RUCH SR.

Funeral service for Richard L. "Butch" Ruch Sr. of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, with graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.

Ruch, 52, died Friday, Nov. 8, 1996, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center.

He was born Sept. 24, 1944, at Hilderbrand, son of Dorothy M. Ruch Jones.

Ruch had managed apartment complexes in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and American Legion. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include a son, Richard Ruch Jr. of Bloomfield; five brothers, Gary Jones of Barnhart, Joe Jones of Indiana, Mitchel Jones of Imperial, Terry Jones of Marble Hill, Darrell Jones of Jackson; four sisters, Linda Dowy of Chaffee, Shirley Cook of Marble Hill, Betty Jones of state of California, Martha Bowers of Fruitland; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and his mother.
