Richard Reutzel

Richard L. Reutzel, 80, of Advance, Missouri, passed away July 11, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Reutzel, the son of L.O. and Mabel Followell Reutzel, was born Dec. 17, 1933, in St. Louis.

Reutzel was a U.S. Army veteran who believed in the Christian faith and had worked as a pipeline welder and steel fabricator.

He later retired from medical records at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include: a son, Wendell Reutzel of Roanoke, Virginia; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11:45 a.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be held at the chapel, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
