CHARLESTON -- Richard Morrow, 81, Charleston Route 2, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1992, at Miner Nursing Center.
He was born March 12, 1911, at Red Bay, Ala., son of Robert and Sarah Belle George Morrow. He and Pearl Strickland were married Sept. 6, 1931.
Morrow was a retired farmer, and member of New Savannah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; seven sons, Grover Morrow of Charleston, Garlan and Mike Morrow of Wappapello, Richard, Ottis, Roger and Danny Morrow, all of Benton; five daughters, Bonnie Romanowski of Wappapello, Ritta Belt, Debbie Hornback and Donna Dixon, all of Sikeston, Theresa Huff of Benton; two brothers, Raymond and Murphy Morrow of Bertrand; three sisters, Willie Fletcher of Bertrand, Alma Cross of Red Bay, Louise Funderburk of Memphis, Tenn.; 35 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and a grandson.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Dale Huff will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
