Richard Darren Kluesner, 37, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born May 1, 1970, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joe and Elizabeth "Betty" Welter Kluesner.
Richard was a 1988 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, and a plasterer many years in the local area. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and Knights of Columbus in Jackson.
He is survived by his parents of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Roger Kluesner of Ames, Iowa, James Kluesner of Cape Girardeau, Dennis Kluesner of Lawrenceville, Ga., Curtis Kluesner of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Marilyn Proffer and Geri Beussink of Cape Girardeau; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7, with Knights of Columbus service at 7:30.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Rahab Isidor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Birthright, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Red Cross Blood Donation.
