JACKSON -- Richard "Rick" Johnson, 39, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 16, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Donald and Kathleen McCullough Johnson. Johnson was a 1972 graduate of Central High School. He had worked at Superior Electric, Blair Industries, Fru-Con, and retired from Rapco in 1987 because of ill health...

JACKSON -- Richard "Rick" Johnson, 39, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 16, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Donald and Kathleen McCullough Johnson.

Johnson was a 1972 graduate of Central High School. He had worked at Superior Electric, Blair Industries, Fru-Con, and retired from Rapco in 1987 because of ill health.

Survivors include a son, Christopher Johnson of Jackson; his mother of Sikeston, and a sister, Martha Miller, Jackson Route 4.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. John Ferguson will officiate, with burial in Proffer Cemetery at Crump.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
