MORLEY -- Richard Irwin Sr., 69, of Morley, previously of Perkins, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 10, 1929, at Perkins, son of Walter G. and Dora Haney Irwin. He and Juanita N. Elfrank were married Aug. 20, 1946.
Irwin retired as an agent with State of Missouri Division of Liquor Control. He was a member of Blodgett Southern Baptist Church and attended Hooe Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard "Rick" Irwin Jr. and Derrick Irwin of Oran; two daughters, Donna and Cindy Irwin of Morley; three brothers, Walter Irwin of O'Fallon, Ill., Clifford and Jim Irwin of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Dorothy Caldwell of Burton, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Revs. Lee Fansler, Donnie Ford, Ed Carter and Lewis Todd will officiate. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
