Richard Forehand

ANNA, Ill. -- Richard Lee Forehand, 54, of Altus, Okla., formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001 at his home.

He was born June 10, 1947, son of Sherman Lee and Pearl Ollie Simms Forehand.

He and Judith Blaney were married in 1965. She died April 23, 1997. He and Dee Jay Powell were married Aug. 20, 1998, in Las Vegas.

Forehand was a flight simulator maintenance manager with the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 1989.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Derrick Forehand of Sacramento, Calif.; a daughter, Angela Chandler of Altus; a stepson, A.J. Powell of Altus; a stepdaughter, Heather Powell of Altus; a brother, Charles Thomas of Waynesburg, Pa.; a sister, Martha Furlow of Cobden, Ill.; three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Monday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmy Keller officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery with full military honors by VFW Post 3455.
