JONESBORO, Ill. -- Richard E. Hartline, 51, Jonesboro Route 2, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1994, at his home.

He was born May 26, 1943, at Cobden, son of Edward and Vivian Bloodworth Hartline. He and Sue Childers were married June 29, 1963, in Anna.

Hartline was a welder at Transcraft Corp. in Anna. He was a member of Union Local 1330, and member of the United Mine Workers Local.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Elizabeth Hartline of Kansas City, Chris Foster of Marble Hill, Gina Hartline of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Richard Hartline Jr. of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bob Hartline of Peoria; five sisters, Betty Bess of Bradley, Linda Johnson of Joliet, Pat Boner of St. Louis, Joann Gibson of Anna, and Margie Henson of Jonesboro.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Neace officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
