WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Richard Leroy Clark, 65, of Wappapello died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at his home. He was born Nov. 24, 1941, at East Prairie, Mo., son of Otha and Julia Denning Clark. WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Richard Leroy Clark, 65, of Wappapello died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at his home.

He was born Nov. 24, 1941, at East Prairie, Mo., son of Otha and Julia Denning Clark. He and Joyce Kay Warren were married in 1972.

Clark moved to Wappapello 12 years ago from East Prairie. He formerly worked for Johnny Beyerbach Construction.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jeffery Clark of Wyatt, Mo., Jimmy Clark of Sikeston, Mo., Richard and Robert Clark of Wappapello; a daughter, Mary Dodd of Nashville, Tenn.; three sisters, Charlotte Poe of East Prairie, Peggy Davenport of Scott City, Mickey True of Sikeston, Mo.; a half brother, Dallas Hinshaw of Sikeston; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
