DONGOLA, Ill. -- Rex Forcht, 48, of Dongola died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
He was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Hammond, Ind., the son of Virgil and Velma Cline Forcht. He was married to Diane Schultz on Aug. 9, 1969.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Launda, Beth and Katie Forcht, all of Dongola; a sister, Shirley Parker of Battle Creek, Mich.; and a brother, Jerry Forcht of Cypress.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Ronnie Gulley will officiate, and burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery with military graveside rites by the VFW.
