BENTON, Mo. -- The Rev. Loretta Jean Marshall, 87, of Benton passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at her home.
She was born April 21, 1933, in Luxora, Arkansas, to the late Lebern and Myrtie V. Qualls Tate.
She and the Rev. William H. Marshall were married June 10, 1949 in Burdette, Arkansas. He preceded her in death June 19, 2014.
Loretta and her husband pastored the Chaffee (Missouri) Assembly of God Church for 46 years and the Christian Mission Church in Benton for 20 years.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Danny (Carol) Marshall of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughters, the Rev. Teresa (Randall) Williams and Sarah (Keith) Gregory, both of Benton; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 7 at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's charity of choice.
