The funeral for the Rev. John H. Walker of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. today at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, Mo. Dr. Clayton Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Festus Methodist Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until time of service.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Centenary United Methodist Church.
Walker, 92, died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 17, 1909, at DeSoto, Mo., son of William Berkley and Nellie Winona Handcock Walker. He married Lora Bernice Porter.
Walker was a United Methodist minister. He was a member of Missouri East Conference of the United Methodist Church, Barnes Lodge 116 AF&AM, and Scottish Rite Bodies of St. Louis.
Survivors include three daughters, Janet Glaser of San Diego, Calif., Annabel Gilhaus of Cape Girardeau, Alice Harnes of Advance, Mo.; a brother, Woodrow Walker of DeSoto; a sister, Martha Rogers of DeSoto; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
