PATTON, Mo. -- The Rev. John E. Cutrell, 72, of Patton died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Oct. 15, 1945, in St. Louis to William Alexander and Lily Geraldine DeMichel Cutrell.
He and Lori Morehouse were married March 9, 1983, in Torrance, California.
He was a pastor at the Patton Church of God and did prison ministry for over 20 years.
John loved his grandkids and his dog, Lucy. He also loved to fish and play Zelda.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Cutrell of Patton; three daughters, Johnna Cutrell of Cape Girardeau, Sarah (Mark) Campbell of Patton and Jamie (Kevin) Hinton of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Samuel Cutrell of Malden, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Lily Hinton, Clinton Hinton and Macy Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and a brother, William Cutrell.
Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. There will be no funeral service.
Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Patton Church of God.
