BRAYMER -- Funeral service for the Rev. James H. Holt Jr. of Braymer will be held at 11 a.m. today at Braymer United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Braymer.
Pitts Funeral Home here is in charge of arrangements.
Holt, 67, died Monday, March 14, 1994, in a Chillicothe hospital.
He was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Blytheville, Ark. He and his wife, Nova, were married Oct. 17, 1947, in Paragould, Ark.
Holt was a Methodist minister, and had served churches in Maysville, Braymer, Plattsburg, Brunswick, Marceline, Doniphan, Sikeston and Poplar Bluff. He was a member of Missouri West Conference of the United Methodist Church. Holt served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Julia Moore of Jackson, Marcia Moore of Bloomsdale, Kathy Wright and Jamie Holt of Braymer; two brothers, Rev. Charles Holt of Kansas City, John Holt of Philadelphia, Miss.; three sisters, Dorothy Wolverton of Center Ridge, Ark., Patty Haddock of Largo, Fla., Norma Hayley of Pearland, Texas, and six grandchildren.
