REV. JAMES C. ROMINE

BERTRAND -- Rev. James C. Romine, 40, of Bertrand, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Tuckerman, Ark., son of Amos and Bertha L. Barker Romine. He and Lee Etta Price were married Oct. 28, 1962.

Romine had been pastor of Cornerstone General Baptist Church since 1985. He was president of Bertrand Ministerial Alliance, and a chaplain at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Timothy Romine of Blodgett; a daughter, Tina Russell of Essex; his parents of Hoxie, Ark.; three brothers, Bill Romine of Rockford, Ill., Edward Romine of Hoxie, Clarence Romine of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Marie George and Jane Harp of Hoxie, and three granddaughters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cornerstone Church. The Revs. Jeffrey Vaughn and Larry Stephenson will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
